At Hardingland Farm we have a flock of Texal sheep, some Aberdeen Angus/Limousine Cross cattle, Saddle Back pigs, some geese and hens.

Hardingland Farm is a twenty acre small holding, close to the edge of The Peak District and the Cheshire border. In 2008 the farm was acquired and developed by Patrick Hannity to supply a seasonal selection of free range eggs, lamb, beef and pork solely for the Lime Tree Restaurant. The livestock at Hardingland Farm are breeds such as Sussex Poultry, Saddle Back Pigs and Aberdeen Angus Cattle. Many of the animals are born on the farm and their welfare is of paramount importance. All the Livestock are free range and are fed on prime quality meal. The resulting eggs and meat is a high quality product which we are proud and privileged to present as part of our seasonal specialist menu at The Lime Tree Restauarnt in West Didsbury, Manchester. At Hardingland Farm we are self sufficent in eggs, meat, vegetables, and fuel for our woodburners, while our water is supplied by Wildboarclough spring. We are currently renovating Hardingland Cottage which we hope to offer for short lets and weekend breaks in the Spring 2010.
