At Hardingland Farm we have our own flock of Texal sheep, some Aberdeen Angus/Limousine Cross cattle, Saddle Back pigs, some geese, ducks, hens and some bees.

Hardingland Farm is a twenty acre small holding, close to the edge of The Peak District and the Cheshire border. In 2008 the farm was acquired and developed by Patrick Hannity to supply a seasonal selection of free range eggs, lamb, beef, and pork solely for the Lime Tree Restaurant. The livestock at Hardingland Farm are breeds such as Sussex, Blackrock and Warren Poultry, Saddle Back Pigs, Texal Sheep and Aberdeen Angus Cattle. We are also in our first season with one hive of bees.

Many of the animals are born on the farm and their welfare is of paramount importance. All the Livestock are free range and are fed on prime quality meal. The resulting eggs and meat is a high quality product which we are proud and privileged to present as part of our seasonal specialist menu at The Lime Tree Restaurant in West Didsbury, Manchester. At Hardingland Farm we are self sufficent in eggs, meat, vegetables, fruit and fuel for our woodburners, while our water is supplied by Wildboarclough spring.

We also offer our holiday cottage at Hardingland Farm for short lets and weekend breaks. You can follow our on line diary of the seasonal changes and events at the farm here
