The View from The Cottage
By Spring 2010 we hope to have finished our renovations on Hardingland Farm Cottage and will be offering it for holiday lets. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation with amazing views and is a perfect base for a rural retreat.
Situated just below Teggs Nose and within a three minute walk of Macclesfield Forest there are many designated walks, cycle routes and bridleways directly from the cottage door into Macclesfield Forest and up to Teggs Nose, Forest Chapel, Sutton, Langley, Shuttlingsloe and beyond into the Peak Park.
The historic Silk Town of Macclesfield is a few minutes drive, while the shops and cultural attractions of Manchester are a twenty five minute train journey. The Derbyshire and Staffordshire towns and villages of Bakewell, Baslow, Ashbourne, Leek and Tideswell are all within easy reach. Gawsworth, Capesthorne and Tatton Hall, are a short drive away while Chatsworth House and estate are a fifty minute drive.
